The Challenge: The Secretary General of the United Nations issued a challenge to the global business community to create a new social compact between businesses and those who are not experiencing the benefits of globalization. The vision was to create incentives and initiatives for global businesses to work toward respecting human rights, labor standards and environmental protection.

The Process: Sarkady worked with the Secretariat and the Executive Head of the Global Compact to establish an Advisory Council. The Council is comprised of the CEOs and leaders of global corporations including Royal Dutch Shell, Goldman Sachs, Infosys, Deutsche Bank, Anglo American Mining and many others.  more>>
